Simply put, the Woodsman 100 Tour is an all-terrain touring axe. For 2024, our updated freeride rocker has all the versatility you know and love, with a lengthened tip engagement zone that grips stronger and carves deeper. We also cinched some tail length, which allows for better mount proportions to improve responsiveness and makes it easier to kick turn. This is complimented by a sharpened radius underfoot, and a comparable shovel width to its wider predecessor, allowing for tighter edge hold and increased float, in an all-mountain width that crushes coast-to-coast. As downhill-capable as it is uphill-focused, the Woodsman 100 Tour is a stalwart built for untethered alpinists.
As part of our three-ski touring collection, the Woodsman 100 Tour features our custom Tour Layup, which saves a pound per ski without sacrificing our signature dampness or durability. Featuring our custom 2800 hybrid fiberglass/carbon composite, proprietary bamboo-pawlonia hybrid cores, full length UHMW sidewalls, 1.4mm Durasurf 4001 base, and 2x2mm edge, the Woodsman Tour is uphill-capable for strong skiers who value downhill speed and stability equally to their ascent.
